The Liner Note Project |
The Liner Note Project is an attempt to collect liner notes from as many CDs and records as possible. They constitute a large part of the artistry of The Album: an art form that is being lost with digital music downloads (with which all you get is the cover art). liner note |ˈlaɪnər noʊt| noun: the text printed on a paper insert issued as part of the packaging of a compact disc or on the sleeve of a phonograph record. |
Willie Nelson – Red Headed Stranger
An example of some very interesting liner notes. The back of the album has an entire storyboard on it!
